- Import the theme: View › Themes › Browse for themes.
- Set the background: Format page › Canvas background › Image, Image fit Stretch, Transparency 0%.
- Add each visual, then type its numbers from the table into Format › General › Properties (Size and Position). It lands exactly on its panel.

Questions
How do I import a theme into Power BI?
In Power BI Desktop open the View tab, click the Themes dropdown, choose Browse for themes, and select the downloaded .json file. Every visual updates at once.
Does it work in Power BI Service?
Yes. Import the theme in Desktop and publish. The theme travels with the report.
How many data colors should I use?
Power BI uses the data colors in order: the first series gets color 1, the second gets color 2, and so on. Six to eight clearly different colors cover almost every report. Put your main brand color first.
What are good, neutral and bad colors?
Power BI uses them for KPI visuals and status indicators. Keep "good" green-ish and "bad" red-ish so people read them instantly, even in your brand palette.
Why the readability check?
Text needs a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 against its background to be readable for everyone (WCAG AA). The check warns you before your managers squint at the report.
Why use this instead of designing directly in Power BI?
Because it sets the whole visual system first: colors, fonts, page size and where every visual goes. Formatting visuals one by one in Power BI takes hours and drifts between pages; here you decide once, then build every page on the same design.
